When do I get paid after a customer orders?

Paystack pays you on the next working day, typically between 8am and 12pm. In recent days most payouts have arrived shortly after 8am, though timing is set by Paystack and can change. An order paid today is paid out tomorrow morning; orders paid on a weekend or just before a public holiday arrive on the next working day after it. Money goes straight to your mobile money, and Creio never holds it.

When Does Paystack Pay You in Ghana? Payout Times Explained

By the Creio team · Updated 14 October 2026 · 4 min read

If you sell online in Ghana, the question you will ask most often is: when do I get my money? Here is the straight answer for stores that use Creio and Paystack.

The short answer

Money from today's orders is paid out on the next working day. Payouts typically arrive between 8am and 12pm. In recent days (as of October 2026) most payouts have landed early, shortly after 8am, but this is not a promise. Paystack sets the timing, not Creio, and it can change.

Examples

An order paid on Monday is paid out on Tuesday morning.
An order paid on Friday is paid out on Monday morning, because weekends are skipped.
An order paid on the day before a public holiday may arrive one working day later than usual.

Why the money is a little less than the order total

Settlements are sent net of Paystack's fees. On Creio the customer pays the processing fee on top of the product price, so you receive the full price of what you sold.

How to track your payout in Creio

The Overview page in your dashboard has a Payout card. It shows what is still owed to you, counts down to when it is expected, and shows payouts that have been confirmed by Paystack. Until Paystack confirms a payout, the countdown is an estimate, not a guarantee.

If your payout is late

Check the day. Weekends and public holidays are not working days.
Check that your payout number is still approved in Settings, Payments.
Check your mobile money account and its limits.
If it is still missing after the expected time, contact [email protected] with the order reference.
